Do you prefer working for someone or for yourself?

Do you prefer working for someone or for yourself?

I currently work full time but much prefer to be in business for myself! I'm thinking it's genetic as my Dad has been a successful entrepreneur his whole life.

I've had my own business for over 8 years now helping people get into shape and learning healthy eating habits. I LOVED, loved, loved training clients!! It would give me the most incredible rush to run beside someone and encourage them to keep going, and pushing them to where they didn't think they could go! I miss training clients one on one but because of my full time position and having 3 small kids at home, it's hard to leave the house after an already full day away from the house.

I will do it again and will grow my business! Working for myself, making my own hours, being at home with my kids, NOT having to ask someone else to take time off to take one of my kids to an appointment is a MAJOR goal of mine!!

Did you know that woman entrepreneurs are one of the fastest growing segments of the Canadian economy and represent a growing economic force!

- Between 1991 and 2001, women's self-employment expanded by 43%.
- There are more than 821,000 women entrepreneurs in Canada, who annually contribute in excess of $18 billion to Canada's economy.
- 4 out of 5 businesses are started by women.
- One in 10 women in Canada is self-employed. In 2004, 29% of self-employed women ran an incorporated business, while 68% ran unincorporated businesses.
- Canadian women are selling their products and services all over the world. Women-owned firms are doing business with Canada's most important trading partners. The U.S. is the dominant market where 74% of women exporters are making sales. Sixty percent of women exporters report activity in Asia and 58% sell in Europe. (source Royal Bank Women Statistics)

Makes me proud to be a Canadian woman and be a part of those statistics!!! Do you want to be a part of the fastest growing segments of the Canadian economy?? Email me roxdamico@gmail.com me for details on how you can change your life and the future of Canada!
